Gaming My friend's F'd up PSP (Help?)

I think the connections of your friend's Button bar are screwed. Meaning you'll need to replace/fix them. There is tutorials on Youtube, but you'll need parts...
I already opened it and I already tried fixing/cleaning it! No dice... Not gonna replace it
I'll just tell him to return it!

There might be plugins that you could use to change volume, but i donno.

The plugins map the buttons to other ones but the problem is that the volume automatically goes down...
My friend bought Kingdom Hearts BBS with it so it was $150 altogether.

I think your best option is to reflash it to OFW then give it back.

If you disconnect the ribbon cable from the power board on the right, it will most likely not go down... this won't fix it tho...but if you can return it then do so.
