Hardware My friend needs a new computer!

Intel Celeron D 356
ATI Radeon Xpress 200

So this, basicly is his PC right now, a complete piece of sh*t.

What I'm asking is, if you guys could find me a cheap, good computer, that can outbest his current one.
He'd buy seperate parts, but neither me ( I can't give instructions (Don't know) and he lives in America ) or him have the knowledge to know what parts to buy 'n' whatever.

If you guys could find me a deal, that could pretty much today's games (Like Bioshock or Assassin's Creed), that'd be wonderfull.

He's got five thousand dollars to waste. But his minimun is around one thousand dollars, he doesn't mind spending one thousand and five hundred though, or a bit more lol.

You can probably get a really nice computer for that then. If I remember correctly, if you go to dell.com and get a vostro something and get the one that gives you the best deal for about 1k and then select to upgrade the graphics card, you can get a really decked out computer for 1200 bucks.

Just upgrade the graphics card to a 512 nvidia 8800, and you've got a really good computer for about 1100 bucks before tax.
