the face expression is more visible in the original
the colored one seems like he is just opening the mouth, while the original looks more disgusting.

you need more dark on the left (left from the picture) part of tongue (the part under it), and add back the "reflects" on it (little white dot, and the line are not visible enough) to show the skewing.
