Wow man, I almost bought a different device for my DS which I got a few weeks ago, but right before I paid I decided to read info from actual customers and eventually decided on the Evolution out of how new it was, it's special features (i thought it would have save/load states out of the box) it's ease of use without a key and the use of microSD. Your story really made me glad I bought the Evolution. I wasn't aware it had that problem, but right after I got the Evolution, a bunch of my friends went out and bought DS's and evolutions, and one of them had a problem right out of the box. What he said was at first it didn't see the evolution in there, but after minor tinkering and retrying it was fine right after. Then he said what happened was the evolution wasn't recognizing the files that was oh his microSD. I had no idea there were problems with it since mine and other friends' were great, so he went out for the night disappointed. He came back a few hours later and poof, suddenly everything worked perfectly. I have no idea how, but he hasn't had any of those problems again. He's said all he ever gets is an occasional freeze with Pokemon Diamond and Castlevania, but I think that's normal, especially for the SD card he got, which I read has a lot of problems running Castlevania PoR.

Ack, sorry for the long post. Anyway, what I was going to say with this reply was that everywhere that I looked for hours, the only price I could find for Evolution was $54.99 USD, so I think the price you got was alright. Also, I don't know what the hell has happened in the past few years, but every damn place I looked at had like 15-20 USD shipping, no shit. Honestly, what the hell has happened with shipping costs? Did the entire internet get in on some scam to rip people off of more % with shipping costs? I ship to continental US, international US military bases, and Canada with my eBay sales, and I use priority US Postal package or one of the higher quality FedEX services, and pay about 4-5USD to ship for customers, with insurance and receivers confirmation from the delivery service. I ended up buying my Evolution from the cheapest shipping I could find and I didn't even get my microSD from the same place, and I still paid 14USD for shipping. I think all these high shipping costs are going into pockets rather than shipping itself

wow thats cool, if i complain (for nothing) maybe i can get free stuff too? hehehe

Not off me

Completely the opposite of Team DS-X.

You mean Person DS-X, right? Remember that competition that I ran ages ago designing DS accessories? Danieluz's DS-X was faulty and he has yet to receive a replacement. It's been nearly 2 months. The support ticket was not even replied to for 1 month, I had to talk to them on IRC before they even started to reply... But don't let me hijack your thread.

Wow! They replaced it without you having to send the faulty one, and they gave a free 2 GB MicroSD card?!

They absolutely rock!

I think the R4 and M3 Team have good support, but this is better then I ever heard! And I had my doubts about them, because the only thing they made for the DS was that old Supercard-clone...

I'll tell everybody about their great support

And I'll probably buy a CycloDS Evolution in the future too... In the future where SDHC-cards are not so expensive as they are now.

Yep, they do rock. They have the best service when comparing to other DS flash carts in my opinion.

And they also included that $20 bill for refunding my shipping costs

They had do go through the trouble of converting their currency to USD (I live in Canada, I wonder why USD).

@sinkhead: Yep, they 'fixed' him.
