i made one of the exact opposite colors (black where white is, white where black is) for my friend

How'd you do it? I have a white DSL, and its boring to look at.

i got a black dsl, a white dsl, and the non-glossy bottom of a crimson red/blue dsl.

you need precision screwdrivers, lots of patience, Tri-wing screwdriver,
more patience, knowledge of how to take a dsl apart, and enough patience to put it back together

Or just sell it as a regular DS with custom case mod. A lot of people will pay good money for that.

Eh, looks okay, seen a lot of better ones and i couldn't care less what colour my system is since i'm usually looking the screen and not admiring the system

heh, I did the exact same thing when I replaced my DS lite's shell (stock white one was getting damaged) I rescued the buttons and re-used them, and the end result was excellent.

Unfortunately, it got stolen 10 months later, which really sucks - currently I own one of the summer coloured ones (namely red).

Still, very nice job, you've gone further than I did, and the fact that it's one of a pair makes it even more awesome.

The stylus is from radioshack, the buttons arent both white because if you look the opposite sides from the buttons, where the power and charging lights are, are black and white.
