Hacking My 3DS R4 Card Isnt Working Help

hi everyone im new here and im hoping someone can help me
im not very clued up about these cards so please forgive my blonde bimbo comments lol ,

i bought a R4 3DS Card from someone (im from the UK)
I put it in my DSI but it didnt work and i bought a 3DS and it says the same thing

there is a gold picture with a sword going through it and it says "Deep Labyrinth Digital Bros"
and when i click it , it says the same error message "An Error has occurred please press and hold the power button to turn the system off"

i took the memory card out and tried a different one to see if its the memory card but its not it says the same thing here is the picture of my r4 card

oh i just seen somthing ,
do i need to put anything on the sd storage card thats on the 3ds (scandisk) ?

Are you using CFW?

What files do you have on the micro sd card for the r4 card?

this is what i mean by im a complete blonde bimbo im so new to this ,
what is CRW ?
i just purchased the 3DS console 2nd hand how do i find out the version ?
and it isnt the memory card that goes into the R4 card its the R4 card that is the problem
i hope im making sense

i am reading up on everything i can find , can anyone tell me which flash card i have because i cant find it online
