Not sure this counts as a brick, but when I boot my 3DS the directional buttons and the touch screen don't work.
A and B work, aswell as the home button, but I can't do anything.

I think I took out the SD card while it was in Gateway mode.

Has anyone heard of this issue before?

The problem would have to be on the system's NAND as the bug still happens when I have the Gateway card and SD card unplugged.
So I guess I need to flash the NAND somehow.
I'm assuming it's a software issue

Is there any recovery mode? Will I have to do a hardware mod?
Any advice would be appreciated. I've only had a Gateway 3DS for a few days so I don't know much. (it was working perfectly before)

I have the option to update through wifi, is there a hack to spoof a firmware update through wlan? (So I can update to 4.5)
Nevermind this issue isn't related to hacks.
I f***ed up the touch screen when I put on a screen protector. How ironic. (thread has been reported and will be removed)

Uhhh if you don't have a nand backup, you can prove your lucky upgrading to 4.5 using Animal Crossing :/ your semi-brick is strange. are you sure that is not a hardware problem?
