What does GBAtemp like?

I like all genres of metal except hair metal (except for the Pantera album Power Metal) and religious metal (no offense to you religious folk), classic rock and classical (17th century).

Well i listen to stuff like Rap but not alot of commercial stuff some House a small amount of Rock and Metal

The only thing i can think of when ur brother says he like "Hard Rap" is hes probably means Hardcore Rap

Where's the techno, alternative, trance, emo, happy hardcore, electronica, indie, and many others? There's more to music than just rock, metal, and pop.

i listen to a lot of stuff. personally i enjoy blues/jazz/bluesrock, but I listen to a lot of other stuff as well. I write music for a living, so you're actually exposed to all kinds of music/noise.

I don't see Shoegaze. Where is Shoegaze? Best genre ever. Asides that, I enjoy Stoner Rock/Metal, Drum 'n' Bass, Classical, Post-Rock, and some other stuff (Vidya musics, etc).

Outside of that quote, i listen to a little bit of everything. Give me some Chicago, Cash, NoFx, Jimmy Eat World, Dragonforce, Sublime, Tiësto, Trip6 Mafia, And One, Cake, etc etc and i'm golden.
I'm not a huge fan of a lot of country (but there are some), and i don't know tons in the way of rap/hip-hop, but i love a fast clean flow, or more instruments backing the vocals.

Also quite like some Religious Rock/Metal, providing the song is actually good, most religious rock/metal songs are such the opposite of stereotypical religious music it actually makes it worse then it, but I know there are a few gems out there.

Orchestral (which is pretty much Classical except it's done today and not 400 years ago)

Some other stuff I like which I didn't put down (as I'd say I'm not really a fan of the genre, more specific pieces) is rap and jazz.

If you want this poll to make any sense, either limit it to few genres, allowing everyone to further specify their tastes in the thread, or add some more genres...
