Hi there,

for quite some time I've been working on this project. I got the idea because it always annoyed me many emulators don't offer a built-in cheat engine or only have a very limited one. So I've created a one in all solution that also supports PC games and comes with some extra features :D

You can find some more detailed instructions on the wiki page.
The project itself and release files can be found here.

Short feature list
  • Search
    • Supported data types:
      • Primitive types: (u)int8, (u)int16, (u)int32, (u)int64, float, double
      • Arrays with wildcards: uint8, uint16, uint32, uint64
      • Strings: about 30 different character encodings supported
      • Color: RGB888, RGBA8888, RGBF, RGBAF, RGB565, RGB5A3
  • Cheats
    • Lua with custom functions
    • Old school cheats to Lua conversion
  • Pointer Search
    • Utilizes BullyWiiPlaza's Pointer Searcher Engine
    • cross-region pointer scans
  • Value Watch & Control
    • Supported types: (u)int8, (u)int16, (u)int32, (u)int64, float, double, bool, DIP Switch
    • switch between read and write mode for each entry individually
  • Data Conversion
    • Convert endiannesses, float to hex, character encodings, color formats

Many more features like Co-Op netplay, Corruptor, TCP/USB connection to consoles are also planned or in development.

Caution

Cheat Searches for PC games are slow as of now.
Backup your save games if you happen to mess with a lot of random values.
Don't use this tool during online gameplay.
If you suffer from epilepsy or get easily startled, use this tool with caution since editing random values can cause flashing visuals or sudden load noises going on.

BigOnYa @ BigOnYa: That game maybe too violent for your granny tho. Better get Barbies Dream house instead.
