Hacking Multiplayer between two Acekard 2i cards. Problems?

Hey guys!

Is it safe to buy two Acekard 2i flashcards for the kids? The point is that I heard there can be some troubles if you use two Acekards and want to play multiplayer games. It seems that Acekard 2i can better work with some other flashcards in multiplayer mode.

Is it true?
Do you have experience using two Acekard's 2i on two different DSi handhelds while playing multiplayer games?

I played Acekard to retail card, Acekard to R4, and Acekard to Acekard. All worked perfectly.

Your only real connectivity problem would be Acekard to Wii.

Edit: Download play option was active I think, not sure if it really makes a difference though TBH.

I've also done Acekard 2i-Acekard 2i and Acekard-Retail card with no problems, but I've only tried a few games. I even tried a three-player game, Acekard-Acekard-Retail, using a DS Phat, a DS Lite, and a DSi.
