I followed multiple tutorials online on how to move a game that is more than 4gb from my external hard drive to the ps3 internal drive. I am using Multiman PFS driver mode which theoretically allows the ps3 to read ntfs files. The issue is after the scanning succeeds, and the usb shows up on my ps3. The moment I click on it. I get the refresh symbol looping over and over again and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? I hear that not all USB work with this method. But I have like four external hard drives and none of them seem to work. and I can't find a compatibility list anywhere.

Also if anyone knows of another way to move a game from my pc to my ps3 internal memory, please let me know

the fastest way to move content from the pc to internal memory is an ethernet cable. however, there are some issues if the content has a lot of small files.

is there a good tutorial for that? cause I am currently disabling my wifi on the PS3 in order not to get banned since I am in rebug cfw.

I think you just enable wired connection on the ps3, type in your pc's ip address and other information, then disable wifi on the pc. I usually use a bridged connection though. I wrote a tutorial on the latter, but the former is easier. bridging connections on windows 10 seems to be unstable.

is there a good tutorial on the former method then. Sorry for all the noob questions but I want to make sure i do not do anything wrong

so it says in the first line to enable wifi on the PS3. but wouldn't that get me banned since I am on rebug cfw
Network does not mean PSN (unless you have autologin enabled, which you don't want)

As for the original NTFS question, I've also had annoyances with Multiman (between the manual USB ID setup and the interface being super clunky), I prefer the Managunz-based standalone file manager which gets it right the first time
