Hey guys, lately there are a lots of MTX Key clones and stuff and because me and my friend watched them, we had interesting discussion on one trick. So I need somebody to test it and deliver the good answer :P
The thing is, he has PSN acc with huge and cool library. He doesn't want to mod hes ps4 with chips and (eventually if we get one) CFW, but he wants to help us. The whole trick we wanna check is if he install few games on external hdd, make image of the hdd and send it to someone with key moded console and the other guy flashes the image on external hdd, will the thing work? My friend is going on a vacation for a month, so if somenody else wanna ptoceed with the experiment, the things will be cool.

mostly this will work, but 100% sony will ban his ID for forever, and no one will be able to activate his games.

also,i doubt there will be a CFW for PS4.

I doubt it too (for the CFW), but there is still some hope. And about the ban- wasn't there a tool, that can remove the id for that game?

a tool that remove the ID? wouldn't that need full hack for PS4 to do that?
the idea of this chip is to use other people account as primary on your console,so it's not really a good hack if many people know it.

Not just that, some accounts that were used for game sharing were banned; Sony has been preparing for this day for a while now.
I actually know someone who bought many chips and bought almost $600 of psn games on one account... because he wants to turn a profit with this. And I though Sony would block it on their much hyped 5.0 update.

well, I hope they really enjoy playing games because selling them now with the account bans and the firmware blocking would be a bad idea since the first thing Sony would do is to ban the account and the $600 in games as soon they got wind the account being used with the MTX key for sharing.

HAHAHAHAHA.
I love it when such people fall flat on their face.

He still has the games and still not banned though. He was never able to get started. Then again I'm not friends with him so I don't really care. He did buy a lot of chips and we kinda told him too late that he only needed one chip... I just find it fascinating that someone blew money over it, he should have just invested it on someone who can hack the ps4...

Dumb fools trying to turn a profit.
I remember some scalper on here that bought dozens of Wii U's at launch, ended up barely selling any.

It was because back then when the PS3 finally got its cfw, I know a few folks who bought a lot of units, hacked them and made a killing. They thought they could do it again with the PS4. Man, were they wrong!

Your friend is painfully dumb, then. The PS3 exploit was different because that was a true kernel exploit. Sony did patch it but people on an exploitable firmware still had full access to the console. This MTX thing barely counts as an exploit, it's just a silly account sharing trick. Nothing has been cracked and its days were numbered before the first chip was even produced.

Indeed. Until it's Kernel exploit, it's not worth looking into.

Yeah, right. COME ON!!!! You need to research some more. MTX wasn't actually an exploit or somewhat CFW that some people thought at all. No.

You of little faith. Someone once said that there will be no CFW for PS3 but in about 3 years later and it was jailbreak with dongle usb. Then about one year or so later CFW was born for PS3. Yeah, you need to have a faith. :creep:

I'm sure there will be, but there's not much point keeping your console on an ancient firmware just for the possibility because it won't get the support from homebrew developers unless the firmware is somewhat recent. The entire console generation will pass while you have a lovely expensive black brick under your TV. Just play some damn games.
