Hello.

I don't know what I was thinking when I did this, but I followed a guide from a website called modchipfactory.com to play v7.1 games on my MT-Card.
Basically, it was said there that I had to activate MT-Card mode in order to activate the emunand (MT3D-X.X-XXE/U) and go to System Settings and update from there while connected to the internet...
When I rebooted the console after that, my REALnand was still in 4.5 and allowed me to go to the MT-Card menu... but when I choose MT-Card mode, the console freezes in a black screen.
I tried formatting the 3DS SD Card, reinstall MT-Installer, redownload the launcher, etc., but nothing corrects this issue.
I would normally think that my MT-Card is doomed at this point, but strangely enough, I can use my blue card and my NDS games in the micro SD just fine after doing this.
I admit that what I did was stupid on my part, but since my REALnand is still in 4.5, is my MT-Card really doomed at this point?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you updated emunand, which would have updated to 9.2. 9.2 is not currently supported by MT-Card, so it crashed. You should be able to format emunand with MT-card and stick with 4.x until they are able to boot to later versions.

Oh, you mean by selecting format emunand on the MT-Card menu I still have hope?

Yes just boot into the mt card menu (holding L I guess like gateway) and reformat your emunand you didn't mess up just updated your emunand to an unsupported version

I'm trying that has I'm typing this. Thank you for the replies.

EDIT: Already tried it. It worked, I have my card back. Thank you so much! ;)

By the way, what's the latest supported emunand for Mt-Card 2.1? Can I update it with a rom?

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.

I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.
