msxDS v0.82

Popolon has released version 0.82 of his MSX/MSX2/MSX2+ Emulator for DS

Changelog:

• Compiled with devkitARM r30 and Libnds 1.4.3+.
• Fixed a bug in the management of color 0 for screen 6 mode.
• Added a filter to improve display quality of high resolution modes.
• There are now three sound modes (PSG at 40Khz, PSG+SCC at 22Khz, PSG+FM at 8Khz).
• Fixed the path of instant save file that was saved by mistake to the root.
• The selection of cartridges, MSX type and sound mode is blocked when the MSX is turned ON.
• Improved change of display mode.

So improved compatibility and more stable, but still no speed improvement...
Oh well, if anybody could hack the DSi mode....this wonderful emulator could really use the extra clock speed and memory...........

Easyer to just port it over to the iplayer witch has extra ram and cpu.

Get the right BIOS and run MG1 or MG2 in MSX2 mode because it is a bit slower in MSX2+ mode.
These games don't work at full speed, but they are perfectly playable.

Popolon thinking to improve speed, thinking also to port msxDS to the Supercard DStwo if he gets it someday.


Edit: Metal Gear 1 has a better sound in PSG sound mode. Use PSG+SCC sound mode for Metal Gear 2.
