Ya I use to have that issue too kizer8. Even though my Xbox Media Center was reading everything fine.

Don't know what I actually did. Had all the right config settings to my domain... change the domain to WORKGROUP.d

Didn't work.. Turned on the Wii some time later... and it started work fine.

Thanks, but how do I fix.

People need to remember homebrew USB2.0 uses cIOS202.

Waninkoko's cIOS rev's have nothing to do with homebrew usb2 support, you should stop mixing these up, there's usb2 usb loader and then theirs usb2 for homebrew.

That is what I am using for v0.5 (DVDx I dirrected to use 202) I can get to play DVDs but it is not seeing my HD (v04 works with both, dvd and HD). I do not know about that but for sure from rev9 and up no USB devices are working anymore (such as a mic, USB LAN adaptor etc.). I know I am on USB2 beta2, I would try beata3 now.

Still no go even with USB2 beta3. I have no problem with MPlayer v0.4 (HD and DVD) but V0.5 will no see my HD but plays DVDs. Any ideas? Thanks.

glad to see that some SMB functionallity has been updated, i'll have to give it a try

just one question though, i had dvdx installed on firmware 3.2E, but now i've updated to 4.0E... will i still have it? i've got pretty much every functionallity of the 3.2 wii but i'm just making sure

Just tried it and DVD's still look really pixelated and graphically corrupt on mine. Is this the same for everyone else?

The samba shares are fantastic though and I love the mkv support.

I don't know why, but pixelation doesn't happen in all dvds. Most dvds work fine. The only dvd that had pixelation in my case was Austin Powers 3: Goldmember.

Don't know why. The first two movies were fine.

I had that same issue for two DVDs that I've tried. Also it wouldn't even read DVDs until I uninstalled DVDX from IOS222 and did a normal install.

What is the differences between GeeXbox and the MPlayer Homebrew? Which is better?

I prefer Mplayer but it all comes down to personal preference, Mr. a killer filesystem made by a killer.

I want to reduce the font size in MPlayer. Can anyone tell me how to edit mplayer.conf in very simple English (an example of exactly what to write?) Thanks!

subfont-autoscale=0
subfont-osd-scale=20
subfont-text-scale=25

Thanks UranusKiller.. already been to google page but your sample helped me understand a little better... Will try it!

Worked a treat! Thanks again. I knew you would be able to help..when I saw you were online.

Is there a way to get this to use cISO249 instead of IOS202?

I upgraded using wanin's 4.0 upgrader so apparently I can't reinstall DVDX now to use the USB2.0 IOS202.

Seems only the 3.2 version of DVDX allows one to point to a specific IOS to use. Weird.

actually if you updated with waninikoko's updater the DVDX installer for 3.2 should work just fine hey. It's what I used to install it on my 4.0 system.

Got it working with the forwarder. And like every other media player, the mkvs I play are choppy... Are there any media players for wii that can play my Naruto eps T_T
