Forgive me if this isn't in the correct thread, but can anyone tell me what is the best card to buy that will work on the 3DS, I ask because I currently use an R4 on a DS lite using Wood firmware. So how will it work on a 3DS, do I still use Wood firmware on a newer card, if so which one supports it, is there more than one? Hopefully you learned people will be able to explain it to me. Thanks in advance.

Pick a card from the chart Rydian has in his stickied thread. Pick one that has a yes in the ds games on 3ds column. Here is the address http://gbatemp.net/topic/290097-which-flash-cart-should-i-get/ .

    Place
Pick up and Acekard 2i or a Supercard DSTWO.
You need the DS to make this work.

@431unknown, thanks for the link, that should help me guide me in my choice

@kevan, thanks for the input and suggestion, but I'm not understanding "You need the DS to make this work", what does that mean?

    Thanks

    Basically...

    DStwo for the features

    Acekard for the value

Both are great carts you should consider.

DSTWO has extra features like GBA, Real time save, etc at $30
Acekard 2i has great support and compatibility for NDS at $12
