Homebrew Moving checkpoint save data?

How do I move save files from an NTSC-U console to an NTSC-J console via checkpoint?

It should be as easy as exporting the saves with Checkpoint and importing the saves with Checkpoint, as long as they are the same games.

I believe an issue is only going to arise potentially if the games themselves are of different regions.
