Gaming Movie editing on Mac

Hello!

I was wondering if anybody knows a good movie editing software for Mac that would let me achieve effects like the sudden white noise static thingy in this video.


I'm trying to achieve a jumbled dream type of feel for a school project, specifically, similar to about 1:26 in the video.

I don't know if there's a way to do it in iMovie, but even so, I don't like using iMovie.

You could do a 30 day trial of Final Cut Pro, probably one of the best video editing software for OSX.
