As for the game... if it is getting things like this then it looks like it will probably pay for the creator's bar tab for a week or so. Makes it all good as far as I can see.

On a more serious note: I can see people buying this. This is kind of like those DVD's with a fireplace. This is something you hook up to a static display somewhere and just let it play out. I'm sure there are already quite some aquarium simulators out there, so one featuring a mountain won't even be THAT unique.

Not automatically. It could be that at the start, you could choose things like your height, location, size, volcano (yes/no) and initial vegetation (that will have their influence as your character progresses through time). While that may not sound like much, it still doesn't quite fit the term 'video'. I think.
