i want to buy the new moto g5 when it comes out, but i noticed that it comes with snapdragon 430 which seems to be inferior to 617 on moto g4. am i missing something or is the moto g5 weaker than the moto g4. should i buy g5 or g4?

I Just got a Moto G 4 Play a few days ago, and I Freakin love this phone, 2Gbs memory, 16GB storage, a quad core processer and a sleek design, this is a phone to die for.
I chose the Moto G4 Plus over the G5. Larger screen, Android 6.0 (I want to keep Xposed), and better design in my opinion.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
