Hacking Motionplus and it's effect on modded Wiis

Hello all,

Given that the Motionplus has been announced officially as a July release - is it likely that it will require new software to be installed on the wii, either through additional IOSs, or a new firmware? If so could this potentially upset our now stable softmodded 4.0s?

Just concerned that friends who i have done it for will come back complaining that their Wii Sports Resort wont work as i have blocked updates with preloader!

What do you all think?

Probably new IOS.
We'll see if they add piracy protections, I doubt it though.

Probably a new IOS like what was need fro Guitar Hero
Then again - they are Nintendo and hold the rule book so anything is possible
*probably just an IOS added

NOTE only new games that are aware of motionplus will take advantage of this (if IOS added) so Wii Sports or Major Minor wont take advantage of it

Wow, really good question mate. But when it gets realeased we will digg out the IOS for the MotionPlus and just leave all of the HomeBrew blockers out.
