Homebrew Morrowind on 3ds?

Now an open source version of Morrowind exists here: https://openmw.org/en/
would it be possible to port it over to the new 3ds?

Shorter draw distance, smaller textures, lower framerate.. might be possible.

Deboog: sure, you can in theory scale anything down to 1x1 - of course at some point well before that extreme, creating custom graphics will make a better result than resizing, but regardless of how will it look, it will still run

Honestly, building a whole new game on top of the engine would be a better idea. Think of the quake mods for psp.

Yeah I have no idea how to go about doing something like this. I imagine the new 3ds would be able to handle it pretty well though.
