More news about 'secret' Madoka project

It wasn't enough to have a new movie trilogy and a weird art museum installation. It looks like there is a new Puella Magi Madoka Magica "secret project" underway. The reveal was delivered via Twitter, when the Madoka Magic offical Twitter account linked to a not-so-secret teaser site (which seems to be IP-locked to Japan), where Mad-oka Men (my new term for Madoka worshipers) could hear "new voice samples" every day until an announcement was made.

What could it be? Is it another teaser for the movies? A second season? A PSP visual novel?

Personally I think the second season would be the biggest potential bummer, as I thought Madoka's ending was pretty good, and reasonably final. Then again, Evangelion's ending was pretty good and reasonably final, and they never stopped tinkering with that, for good or ill.

Hmm looks like Madoka is turning into quite the franchise.

I don't know about a PSP visual novel as that PSP RPG game is coming out early next year, so having two games for the same franchise at the same time seems a little counter-productive.

According to that Crunchyroll article you posted, the FAQ on the site says that everything will be revealed in a few days, so we won't have to wait that much longer.

I could see a second season happening. The ending was pretty open. I'm not sure how anyone saw it as truly "final". It was a good ending, mind you. It could serve as a definite finish, but it could also easily be expanded upon.

Either way I demand more Kyoko merchandise if it is a season 2.

Well reading the wikipedia, it does have a nice spin towards it. Although I personally feel most anime are just being recycle'd from old franchises from their counterparts.
