Hacking moonshell

I was looking everywhere and i cant find an answer, is it possible to have playlists on moonshell?
Also if it is not possible, is there a way to have short cuts so i don't have multiple copies of the same song?

What i am doing right now is make folders like playlists but it takes too much memory.

Playlists are not supported by Moonshell, but both DSOrganize and LMP-ng support them for music playback.

I wouldn't consider it the equivalent of a Playlist but creating a folder within the Music folder can separate songs. For example, in my Music folder I have a folder named "Timbaland". This contains all his songs. In Moonshell it will show up as a separate folder, which would only contain his songs. You can take it a step further by having folders inside the "Timbaland" folder that contain specific albums. That's about as far as it goes right now. Just make sure you only have 1 copy of a song in your microSD card and in the right area. Sounds like you have multiples in many files.

How do you make the Playlist feature work in LMP-ng? I've never seen it work, even with the folder trick for Moonshell. Are Boxarts possible too?

If you create a *.m3u file with the names of your songs it will play them back in that order. I don't know the specifics, as I've never used it, but I imagine if you search around the LMP-ng thread at the GBAdev forums you'll find some instructions on how to format the m3u file.
