If you downloaded a slightly older bundle, there should be something called ""DPGENC in the "Misc Tools" folder.

Moonshell 2 plays .dsm, too, no?

And you can convert with BatchDPG or the dpg tools that come with the Moonshell 2 download. I think both are downloadable on this site.
Alternately, you can convert them online(takes long for big files) at media-convert.com.

Use the dpg tools that com with the zip file. You might need plugins but I'm not sure I'm allowed to say.

No, DSMPlay does tho. There is a plugin for Moonehsll2 that will play suitably encoded .avi files, but I've not tested that yet.
