No, you look at his post.
It's the fixed version of makesplash.exe that xenon++ and carpfish fixed at my request.

The trial for this is now over and it tells me to update. But where can I find the update?

Moonlight has released a fixed version of the installer file, Set up.exe :

For all users. Thank you for a lot of reports. I am sorry. ChildZwai was not able to be installed with "Windows other than Japanese".
The file that restores this problem is as follows. Please copy the unpacked file onto setup.exe of ChildZwai.

Moonlight is the author of Moonshell.

It's probably a stupid question, but i really couldn't make out what this child zwai will change for me.

Will it make the quality of my DS lite sound better? I know its just a little better as the changelog said but, is it noticeable? (this question is valid for both speakers and phones)

It makes anything slower?

I only use moonshell for music/video, will i lose anything? Gain anything?

If you could answer these questions I'd be much grateful, 'cuz even reading all the changelog I could only understand a thing or 2 there.

Since there's no good translation of what the 2.10 child zwai changes, the best I can tell it supposedly improves sound quality out of the headphones and/or reduces any overly high volume/sounds... maybe.

I think that improvements only affect usage on a DSi / DSi XL.

I still need a nice splash.ani for starting Moonshell Child Zwai, btw.

Based on my exp.

Gain:
-Improves reading image files than 2.10, it's much faster.
-The sound output on speakers are great. (Using DSiXL) much louder now.
-feels like more stable than 2.10
-moonmemo upgrades xD

Pain:
-The Random function behavior change when playing music file.
-The drumset >:) I don't like it.

But since you're using DS lite, I think sound improvements don't apply to it, sad.

I see... well, if someone with DSlite has tested it, i'd very much appreciate a feedback and thanks for the replies btw.

Hello, sorry for being a noob for asking this. I'm currently using Moonshell 2.07 stable RVCT3.1 [Build 794]

Uhm, is it ok to replace all the files with this one? What I mean is the 2.10 release. Or do I need to patch etc somthing?

BTW I'm using Wood R4 1.15

Tested on NDSL+EZ3in1 (R4DS + WoodR4 v1.18) (this is the only DS I have)

-Overall performance not bad,
-Compared to original 2.10, this version has better sound. At 100% volume, the music have deeper tone.

(I wonder how good is the sound at DSi/DSiXL)
-The drum is a nice addition to the music player. (can't get enough of it

)
-Video plays flawlessly (the ram expansion from the EZ3in1 really helps)

So far, so good.

Thank you guys, and thanks a lot Moonlight.

Would someone be willing to give me instruction on how to get this to work on a new card? I can't seem to get it to work.
