Anyway, the sound is really good in this version, even on DS lite, with good sony headphone I almost can't notice the background noise.

EDIT: Actually just tried it out - seems like THIS version doesn't like Xenon++ '210b9fix', so can't get commercial ROM running

Well... Moonshell is based on an opensource project/code so it should be opensource as well, but AFAIK the source was only given to one or two people, and that was an older version (probably the 2.0bX).

Although I have heard that Moonlight retired as well, he doesn't seem to have completely left. Stevetry (I think that is his screenname) had emailed Moonlight about how he was unable to watch videos on the bottom screen because his top screen was busted. Moonlight apparently gave him a special version that plays video on the bottom screen (which I happily have that version too xD).

if your clock isnt set correctly, you get:
The expiration date for use was passed.
The time limit is 2010/08/31.

So my DS Env Maker has a option to downgrade to MoonShell2.10b9...
But I think you can keep 2.10childII text editor with 2.10b9...

Yes you can... I've tried it & it works (although not tried everything out yet)

• Firstly - backup your DS2 for safety
  Next - unpack this pack (either run the exe or extract it using 7-zip)

I recommend you DELETE '/moonshl2/' folder from the DSTwo to avoid any conflicts,

• Copy over the same folder ('/moonshl2/') from the childzwai pack
  Copy over the 'moonshl2.nds' from child pack into the '/_dstwoplug/' folder
  Copy from your backup the file dsi2.nds inside the /moonshel2/resetmse/ folder & place into the same folder on the DS2

That should be it
If you have problems starting up Moonshell, where it 'locks up' on a black(top screen)/white(bottom screen) text screen - a reformat MIGHT cure it

You're going to need to put the DSTwo DLDI into the moonshl2 folder also, if you care about booting homebrew with Moonshell 2 (I assume you need it for things like the various homebrew plug-ins for Moonshell2 as well).

You mean dldibody.bin? Actually dldibody.bin update is needed only for m3sakura_make (sakura11x normal header).
reload.dat writes dldibody.bin automatically when launching homebrew (also patching is done from memory, not from dldibody.bin)
