Dude, you can. I'm using Beta 8.2 and I already sang along some songs while knowing exactly what to sing, sound and lyrics coming from DS XD

I dunno about .LRC in Moonshell or whatever lyrics viewer plugin there might be, maybe it'll be there in the future. But again, just so you know, you can already browse to the text while leaving the MP3 playing the background.

@rtnario
really? what version exactly is that? i can't remember what version my moonshell2 is, so i guess all i should do is upgrade right? wow, thanks, good thing i asked, i didn't know that. in my current version, i can just browse around but the music stops once i open a text file, plus browsing lags (because the player is using up memory and accessing the card, i guess). good thing they already did that, haha, i didn't have to wait. oh wow, that made day.

@Boriar
well, too bad about that. but you know, if someone could work out a plugin or something for it, it ain't really that far-out, right?

downloading now, haha.

Yes, it's beta.10. At least these are from Moonlight homepage.

In other way, can you upload Fishshell2 to GBAtemp or other link? I don't understand japanese

You can find it in the "extendskins" folder along with my translation of Moonlight's readme included with the skin. I haven't actually copied the files to my DS and checked it for myself though (no time to log on to GBAtemp lately, let alone play around with the new beta version).

Beta 10 I assume, the changelog mentioned added support for thumbnails and I think CD covers (?). Unclear translation is unclear.The changelog says that he added the option to create thumbnail images for both videos and MP3s. I haven't had time to check this for myself, but if it's what I think it is, then it means that whenever you highlight a video or MP3 in the file list, an image will show on the top screen. M3 Sakura has the same feature.

I had completely translated the beta 10 changelog, then I lost it when I tried to edit my post. I'll do it again when I get home.

So I copied my AAC-format, MPEG-4-contained music files for my DSi to my MicroSD card to see if it would work as it's supposed to. I tried them with both MoonShell 1.71 with a MPEG-4 AAC plugin and MoonShell 2 Beta 10. Both froze upon selecting any of my music files. I converted them in MediaCoder using FAAC with an average bitrate of 192kbps, and I don't think there should be anything wrong with those. So... yeah. Explanation? No, they aren't encrypted.

The uploaded version has the language.set file set to 932, while the English language is at 000.

I can't seem to boot up Beta 10. Beta 9 worked for a short while, then it wouldn't boot. I just get the error page. I already deleted the logbuf. I'm using it with my Supercard DS1 with the Triple Boot Loader. Got any tips on how to get it working?

Try backing up your contents and reformat your card; the error page even asks for a reformat on it.

Moonshell2 beta10 is more stable than other versions, and the thumbnail thing is very functional... didn't tested CD cover because i don't have any here... but everything is working fine and I don't get more any error by trying to play all the musics of my SD Card, because in the older versions trying doing that the MS freeze... Using SuperCard Rumble Slot2

The weird thing is that it works if I boot it via DSTT, but if I boot from the Supercard firmware, it doesn't load.

go to misctools directory and autoDLDIpatch direcotry, run the program in that dir and copy the supercard dldi patched version to the root of your supercard.
Copy the file that is for your supercard, mine is supercard rumble(have to do some edits to make it work XD) then i copyed the moonshell2_SCRB.nds

Olders skins don't work in this version =/

Nop, Moonlight have changed the ID of skn files and also it has new pictures addition, so old ones needs some work to be utils.

About scl rumble, how do you patch it? I use the sc lite dldi and all go well with sc lite slot-2 but i only get to white screens at booting Moonshell2 with rumble one.

Would anyone who's already downloaded beta 10 be willing to do me a huge favour and reupload it elsewhere with the extraneous bullshit stripped out? Seriously, it's a 45MB download, most of which is made up of the /misctools folder, which is the same in every release. I'm on a metered Internet connection and I don't want to blow 45MB of usage on what, by simply cropping out the /HTML and /misctools folders then running it through 7-Zip, is 15MB worth of content. The ideal would be for Moonlight to move the extraneous bullshit into a separate download, but failing that, it'd be lovely if someone could do this for me so I can download a damn homebrew without having to ration out bandwidth afterwards.
