I dont know If I should post this here and this is my first post. I just dl the new moon shell and i'm having some problems. Its not moon shell it self but I reformattedd my SD card cause it has some virus (didn't effect my SD card just other PC) I saved all my files in a folder, format my SD and put all my in again.
in the middle of putting my 6 GB of game roms and music, it crashes some where and it only copy some of my games. i thought it wasn't a big deal so I just copy the rest of the file didn't copy (games and music)
I start up my ace kard, fire up moonshell then I get this

QUOTE said:
A Fatal error has occured!

The displayed filesize and the actual filesize are different

Recovery method:
Back up all files to hard disk, and recopy after formatting card

Application terminated

So I was wonder what the means and if anyone could help me?

Just to add to what BoxShot says, the "The displayed filesize and the actual filesize are different" error is caused because Moonshell does a check of your disk on startup and it's very good (irritatingly so - but Moonlight doesn't seem to want his app to be blamed for file corruption that is already on the SD card) at finding problems. So if you either do a windows chkdisk on the SD Card, or give it a format and moonshell shouldn't show any more errors.

Code:
C:\>chkdskÂÂ/?
Checks a disk and displays a status report.

CHKDSK [volume[[path]filename]]] [/F] [/V] [/R] [/X] [/I] [/C] [/L[:size]] [/B]

ÂÂvolumeÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂSpecifies the drive letter (followed by a colon),
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂmount point, or volume name.
ÂÂfilenameÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂFAT/FAT32 only: Specifies the files to check for fragmentation
.
ÂÂ/FÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂFixes errors on the disk.
ÂÂ/VÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂOn FAT/FAT32: Displays the full path and name of every file
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂon the disk.
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂOn NTFS: Displays cleanup messages if any.
ÂÂ/RÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂLocates bad sectors and recovers readable information
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ(implies /F).
ÂÂ/L:sizeÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ NTFS only:ÂÂChanges the log file size to the specified number
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂof kilobytes.ÂÂIf size is not specified, displays current
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂsize.
ÂÂ/XÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂForces the volume to dismount first if necessary.
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂAll opened handles to the volume would then be invalid
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ(implies /F).
ÂÂ/IÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂNTFS only: Performs a less vigorous check of index entries.
ÂÂ/CÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂNTFS only: Skips checking of cycles within the folder
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂstructure.
ÂÂ/BÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂNTFS only: Re-evaluates bad clusters on the volume
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ(implies /R)

The /I or /C switch reduces the amount of time required to run Chkdsk by
skipping certain checks of the volume.
So something like this should do the job

Code:
CHKDSK e /r
(where you drive is e)

Sometimes this happens if the files in the Moonshl2 folder you place at the root of the card cant be read. Instead of running the updater provided in the RAR file try just dragging and dropping the moonshl2 folder and the NDS executables provided.

Trust me, Im a doctor haha
