Thanks for the links ! I wonder if Real Time Save/Load counts as a reset or not... And what's than RNG thing ?

dunno much bout RTS, but i guess it wont count as a reset.. coz when you load from RTS, the game didn't load the real save.. so when you indeed save it normally, it'll just overwrite the old save (including the reset flag in it) and count it as a normal play

i think RNG is random number generator that dictate randomness in the game.. this can include:
- stats gain in training (including the state: fail, success,..)
- hit count / critical hit / block / dodge, while in battle
- Errantry dice roll
- etc.

I think you can do this like this:
before the battle starts she asks if you wanna give orders...choose no and it fight on its own...I'm just guessing though never done that.

lol, way too many haters. doesn't surprise me that they're MOSTLY americans who can't figure out the game and tell everyone it's crap. perhaps that's why the japanese never release half the great games they make over to your land. now if only they didn't release the ps3, wii, psp, and ds there too, maybe these kinds will stop complaining.

Fortunately this hard isn't as hard as the GBA games, or at least few years ago they seemed harder.

Anyway, the auto-fight does work, but the only problem is that when I've tried it, the monster just stood there doing nothing, even although I had enough guts for all attacks, and only after a while attacked...>.> So I prefer to fight on my own, it's easier rather than having an AI who just stand and waits for a while before attacking...

So far the game is addicting, I hope I didn't make too much negative points by resetting (when I forgot to save, or was at the beginning and wondering what would choosing other option do/scolding...). And I certainly hope that resetting only counts when you actually do something in the game, like fightning or training, because I showed my friend the game and because each time I got stuck on the incantation I resetted it twice.

Did anyone get the incantation to work? I didn't, and even tried talking to it for a long time!!

Can I get a link to R4CCE? I will update it myself if I can before my service gets shut off today and upload it onto filetrip. I just need a copy of a good R4CCE. All cheats too that way I can copy the information quickly.

Credit goes to the cheat makers. I just wish they weren't so sensitive to update requests. Personally they whine too much when somebody requests but I understand where they are coming from. If it is so hard though stop volunteering so you don't get people annoying you.

For those who need R4CCE. Links got outdated or broken so I found it luckily thanks to google and I uploaded it for those who are lost or need help. I cannot manually add cheats because it does not work so I am not 100% sure the cheats I added will work. If not grab yourself R4CCE and do it yourself. This is all I can do with only a day left of internet service.

I just beat the Rising Dragon tournament and it wasn't even that bad. My second generation Tiger beat the enemy in three hits. Based on how easy that was, I'm now pretty confident for the Official Grade B tournament. I really don't see any reason why someone would need cheats for this game. Just raise up a monster for a while and when it gets old, freeze it and combine it with another monster you raised. The result will be incredibly strong and get you further than its "parents" did. Repeat the process.

I would have agreed with you on that but I tried. I combined and did everything. It got old by the time it was ready to use. Anyways I only used the stats cheat. How can I create Dragons? I tried but it is not easy.

Thanks Flash, took a while to get em in in a way that worked with my card but i got it, just imported the two codes i wanted from yours to my cheat file. I'm using the 9 rolls and the more errantry life, Y UP and Y right or whatever. I reset like 3 times when drills weren't going well, now i ain't gotta worry about it.

Guess i ain't combining this guy though.

Does a cheat that negates the negatives of resetting exist? Or at least maxes out the hidden points so the occasional freezing doesn't mess everything up?

You aren't allowed to make a Dragon until you win in the Rising Dragon tournament, which is in February. Once you do, you are able to make a Dragon using the Magic Spell generation technique as well as using the reward from the tournament during a combination to make a dragon(I think). For Magic Spell, I can't remember how to make a pure dragon, but in order to make a Dragon x Naga, carefully write down XYZZY into the first five boxes.

I hope you guys who cheat to raise your monsters' stats don't battle over Wifi, because it spoils the fun for us people who raise the monsters honestly and then fight with your monsters who are stronger than they should be.

And the game indeed is not that hard, all you need is some good thinking and logic. And hope for the best when drilling. I managed to get my first monster up to B rank, but then I had to retire it. So for someone who didn't really play any other Monster Rancher games (I got fed up during the first tournament on the GBA games, which comes really soon), I think that's quite a feat/really good.

Anyway, did anyone get the incantation to work? How does your screen look like when you open the book? My both screens freeze, the blue lights don't flicker beside the door and I think they should, I also don't hear any music. Does anyone else get this as well? Do you think it's a bad dump?

I got that one as well but quickly combined it with a lock-ness-monster-looking one to get a water type instead of a fire one.

I've ben 1-2 shotting things constantly. My monster has around 500 attack power and he's a class D monster. This game is only a bit challenging in the beginning so far as I can tell... I just hope whiners/lazy people don't ruin my experience online.

@Fel,

Incantation works fine for me. Saying the same phrases over and over produce the same monsters for me. Maybe you downloaded a bad dump?

I'm already getting bored of this game to be quite honest :[ Create a monster, raise it, win tourneys, freeze it, combine it with another raised monster, rinse and repeat.
