Hacking Monster hunter tri

Does anyone know a way to get the cheat part of the english patch to work with softchip? I can not get Gecko to work and all the item names in the game are messed up. Thanks.

Alright guys heres my issue hopefully someone can help me on this.

Currently Im up date at 4.2u ive been running Neogamma 7 perfectly fine for about a year now. Im having the same issue with MH3 as everyone else. The screaming black screen issue. When I attempt to add new Cios's so I can get Uloader to work the CIOS app install lose's connection with my Wiimote. I also cant pick it up with a game cube controller. Does anyone have any information that they can help me with this problem?

I've got monster hunter tri (pal) working flawlessly (no freezes so far and able to change name etc). Using a eur wii with 4.1. Also wd attached hard disk.

Using:

Cios rev19 (ios250) using base ios37 (I also have rev19 on base ios57 (ios249), but that causes the screeching black screen upon choosing a game mode).
Running game through configurable usb loader with ios250 selected (the rev 19 base ios37) and the rest of the settings set as default.
