It just takes a second to change, go into AnyRegionChanger, set shop channel language to 1 and eula to read, save... and you're done!
Then when you're done with it, just change it back to whatever number it was before and save...
But oh well, see you in a few days then _o/

Really...? The thing I was reading was a bunch of crap then. I should really upgrade my knowledge of shop channel changing then xD. If that's so, I'll look into it in a few minutes and try it.

for me it has to be the fact that you can go to outside of the "town" to hunt things without getting missions and the possiblity of finding bosses(countless Dos Jaggi had a headache against my trusty hammer of DOOM...and 99% iron)

That would be one of my favorite things that is new. Another thing also that I like is the fact you can play with people( I know you could with the other games but I never experienced it which is how I got very bored with MHF2) I have a question, I still didn't get a straightforward answer on this, but can you do that mode(free mode) online as well? That would be quite cool where you can just go on free mode and chill with your friends etc and do anything you want.

eh..its only six days till i get my copy....Im so excited!!! but before that I have to perform in this Play for my University for the next four days...then 2 papers...and then an interview in New York for an internship...Talk about going through a gauntlet!

Well, look at it this way. You'll be doing all that stuff for an internship and something important for university then after that, your getting MH3 as a reward

I myself have lots of annoying crap to go through the following days (even during the weekend :/) but I can't complain as MHTri is just around the corner, so it's my reward!! heh

NO, you cannot go outside unless you start a quest online.
You can chill in the online town though, you can arm wrestle and eat food and stuff, very nice!

There are some extra NPCs and stuff online though, so I online is not just for playing with others.

First 20 days are free, you don't need any Wii points at all.

i see, so you don't have to pay straight away to play online then.

They charge to play this game online after 20 days? That sucks. How much?

US AND EU releases have FREE online services.

The Japanese get 20 days free Online Service and then have to pay

Hmm... I still get the error code even after changing my shop channel to Japan with Eula set to read and reinstalled my cIOS rev 19 based on 37. Well, I'll go on a bit more but if it doesn't work, then its okay...

I'm fairly sure you have to remove your old Shop Channel account (on US or UK or whatever server)
Also, make sure you're booting MHTri on 249 and not like 223 or something.

Yea, I see where my problem were. It was that I didn't remove my account. Now I did that and I run into a new error code xD. I'll see what I can do.

My first MH experience came one Christmas when my little brother got the original Monster Hunter for the PS2. I sat down and began to play it, and was instantly hooked. Then came on Yian Kut-ku, and my ass was handed to me time and time again. I neglected to see that a few well placed hits and a defensive strategy would be better for me than wildly slashing at it.

I finally beat it and, at the time, as sad as it sounds, it was the greatest moment of my life.

Then Rathian came and I /ragequit for a while. That was pretty much my last MH game until I convinced my brother to give MH another chance with Freedom Unite. Happy to say that last time we played together we finally reached HR9.

Haven't pre-ordered MH3 yet, but seeing as how they no longer have the controller bundle at Gamestop, I'm quite sad. ;( Aww well, if it comes down to it, I'll just buy them separate. I'm almost tempted to spring for another wii so I can play with my brother there as well, but I guess I'll just have to get a bit less anti-social and play online. There's always the 2P arena missions I suppose.

April 20th can't come soon enough.

I remember killing him when I was playing the Japanese version. He took a long time to kill, but wasn't really hard. What's really hard is that damn Lagiacrus. In the 1* missions when I kept trying to fight him, I thought I could win, until one time I decided to run away...

Anyways, can't wait for the 20th!!!!111one!
