ROM Hack Moemon Firered CIA blackscreen

Hi all,
Anyone managed to get moemon exported to CIA and working correctly?
I tried vanilla unmodded firered CIA working fine with the battery bug fixed.
However once I patch it with moemon IPS, the game just froze in blackscreen when Prof Oak supposed to come out and intro at the beginning of the game.
Help please thanks

Try the Ultimate GBA VC Injector for 3DS? That might work. But, the save most likely won't work. If you have a PC, try to use a GBA emulator.

I, too, am having this issue, and hopefully I can shed some light on the problem. According to a thread I found elsewhere, Moemon does not work on the original BIOS even in VBA, which is what the 3DS uses. Likely this is causing the problem and currently there is no fix. Maybe try chatting up with the original creators in their megathread on PokeMMO? They may be able to patch it in a future update as it still seems to get regular attention
