I have access even though I'm just a reporter and not a moderator. Does that make transmod? Or just cisstaff?
Transmod. You aren't a moderator, but deep inside you feel like one, and you're not comfortable being a regular member, and you're working towards a status change operation that will make you what you what you always knew you were. You're taking hormone therapy right now.

You don't really need hormones to be a moderator, but you're taking them anyway.

It has previously been observed that mag staff/reporters are mostly unable to become full mod. You get some of the things they can do, a title and it is considered a bit of a dick move for people not to refer to you as staff, or indeed defer to your opinion like you were. However buried deep down is the knowledge you are not "normal" staff. Worse is by heading down this path the option to do the complete cunt/dick bit is not really one you have any more.
