    Is their some sort of way that you can chjip you PS2 slimline for free? No money needed?

    Well seeing as putting in a "chip" means that you need to buy the modchip or put one together buy yourself.

    Both ways cost money, so I don't think there is going to be any free way to chip a PS2. Yet, I don't know see as I don't know a lot about the PS2.

    There IS somewhat "a free way" its called freemcboot ; a memory card mod; but youd still have to find a way to get it installed on your memory card... like someone who already has it

    There is other ways to do it, like a swap disc, but FreeMCboot is a great way to freely mod a PS2, ive got it on my memor32 instead of the official firmware, because they stopped updating it.
