Hi,

I was wondering what tools I would need to modify my Wii U's NAND by hand. I have found there are tools for dumping the NAND and for extracting the files from it, but I was wondering about injecting modified files back into the NAND image, and then reflashing it to my Wii U? I want to change a few configuration options on it. I've tried using the System Configuration Tool, but the modified one for homebrew use doesn't seem to let you write many changes back to the system. Let me know if this is possible or if you have any advice, thanks.

What exactly are you trying to do?
Specifically, I want to change the video format from NTSC to PAL (there's a specific reason for wanting PAL video settings with Xenoblade Chronicles). The video format changer homebrew kind of works, but the changes are only applied in memory and gets cleared when you launch a WiiU VC game.

FTPiiU Everywhere allows you to temper with files in NAND directly.

Always remember that tempering with NAND might brick your Wii U! Consider testing things in a redNAND first.
