thanks for all your hard work. I have a friends Wii that I modded and it is a virgin Wii that was updated to 4.3U. I did the 4.3U modify and everything is working great except when I went into shop channel it asked me to update. Can I remove the shop channel with dopmii and install the shop channel wad(Shopping Channel-NUS-v20) that is supplied in your 4.2u update?
Thanks again for your guide it is the best.

To be able to run Homebrew on this Wii with Indiana Pwns?

Thanks in advance!

You should try to get a copy of yu-gi-oh's 5D Wheelie Breakers, because it's cheaper in most stores (if it's still for sale). Good Advice from a "Nederlander"

Is there a way to use Smash Stack on an European Wii?
Cause i really don't wanna buy Indiana Jones or Yugio to get Homebrew.

You don't need to remove it, just install the wad, it will install over...

FYI, this doesn't only apply to 4.3 Wii's

Installing a Trucha'd IOS into slot 236.
VERY IMPORTANT! ONLY APPLIES TO 4.3

also, u may want to modify your guide so people following the "Update to 4.2" steps make a nand backup BEFORE actually installing a new SM or SM IOS. That way in case of power failure, the Wii can be easily repaired by restoring the nand backup (or by using an infectus if bootmii was not able to be installed as boot2)

cheers dude!

I second this suggestion, I always do this when softmodding someone's wii so that they have the 'cleanest' nand backup possible.

Ok I had a 4.1u wii, accidently updated to 4.2e. Got the Opera message in settings I then used a US version of Sports Resort. Updated fine. Still have message. So I dl'ed the 4.2upU package. Everything went fine except I get " TICKET (-1035)" on IOS53-64-v5663. I am stuck

I have a wii soft modded perfectly using this guide for 4.2, I use a external drive and load games using the usb loader and I'm extremely happy. However I just downloaded def jam rapstar and Im having an issue since my external drive is using the slot the wii wants the mic plugged in. I tried using a couple different usb hubs however the wii doesnt like them. I currently tried burning the game to a dvd+r disc using imgburn set to 1x speed and loading it with neogamma 15 beta to only receive a disk read error 1045 I believe. So I need some guidance a good work around for this issue.

ok, something new.
I got a friend here, he updated his wii yesterday...

Using IOS236 installer gives me the "there's nu vulnerable IOS" error and can't install IOS236.

Managed to work around it with:

-cBoot2 >> MMM
-MMM >> uninstall IOS 249 + 250
-MMM >> Install IOS 222,223,249,250
-WM1.7 @ IOS 250 >> Delete IOS 70 + 80
-WM1.7 >> Install IOS 70 + 80
-MMM @ IOS 250 >> Priiloader
-Priiloader >> hacks

Maybe something to look at, as it seems to me they patched IOS236 installer?

Only reason you could get that message is from not using the latest hbc, launching ios236 installer from outside the hbc (mmm or forwarder), or you copied the boot.dol without the meta.xml.
