Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

Ok, have done everything up till the preloader and its saying Got Root! Ticket could not be found :s why is it doing that

Like i've said before yes im a total noob at this i just need help

and you guys seem real nice

I've mentioned a possible fix this in a previous post.

Try installing Preloader 0.29 JODI first then update to 0.30. Don't use the internet update with Preloader 0.29 JODI on the Wii to update to 0.30. Put the installer for 0.30 r4 on the SD card and install through HBC.

Also the hacks.ini should be in the root of your SD card.

i'll try that now. On a side note, i dont want to shut my wii off to take the sd card out incase i get the dreaded System Menu is corrupted screen and then im goosed with no way to enter preloader (mainly cause it wont be installed) Is it ok to just remove my card while in the Bomebrew channel? or will that corrupt my card?

Sorry to be a pain in the backside, i am really really gratefull for your help

It's perfectly fine. HBC is hot swappable.

ah goood. so i just unzip both of them into my apps folder? I make their own little folders first right? i tried with the preloader v0.29 jodi and its not showing. do i need to rename the preloader v0.29-jodi.dol to boot.dol first? sorry i know im an idiot.

crikey you guys are going to hate me. Right latest problem, i got the preloader v0.29 jodi to show but when i load it i just says if you object to this being installed then turn off your wii and then does nothing it doesnt give me the option of installing =\ is this normal?
