Sounds good War, but give credit to Darth as well then, because he was the one who had all the programs ready at hand :]

Once I get all these pics, I'll update the front page!

Holy smokeroonies, nice pics. O.o

How are the actions? Like when they swing their sword, claw, etc.
Yes they will, so says Darth. The animations are not linked to a specific model, so they will work. However, it'll probably only work with humanoid characters or it might crash.

I'm currently compiling a list of the NPCs file numbers and a picture of each, so people won't have to hunt down a specific character without knowing where to look.

I'll have one up within the next couple hours, just because my night is quite busy, haha!

But once I get it up, you'll see how easy it actually is. Only think I truly need to get set up is the model list, otherwise it'd be a guessing game for you guys who don't know the list.

CPhantom, is there an unpacker I can use apart from Hex Workshop? I just downloaded that but it needs to be installed T.T If I install it my dad will kill me xD. Any suggestions on one that doesn't need to be installed and will still work? I just tried dslazy and it didn't do me much good because ndstool isn't working for me.

Thanx

Yeah, DarthNemesis added an unpacker/repacker to his program, which I will link to and give credit to in the main post.

It just requires a download, but no install. So you should be good with it when I post the tutorial.

Thanks a lot. You've made my day. No, really. xD

EDIT: CRAP!!

CPhantom, the unpacker/repacker for that Darth added to his program was..

ndstool.exe

It doesn't work for me. When I double click on it, cmd pops up and disappears in an instant. Then, nothing else happens and the application won't start =="

Any other suggestions?
Is this program even the one you were talking about?

That isn't the correct one.

Don't worry, I'll have a full tutorial on how to do it when I get done with the images of the NPC characters.

Wow.. How many NPCs are there?

And how are you making images of them? I never learned how to make a screenshot of my DS. Do you just take a photo or something?

Well, I have 52 fully funtioning NPCs currently. There are several more, but I have no clue where they are located. (Such as the main villians of the story)
spoiler is who:
Adonis and his crew of people and the Soma Guardian chicks

I'll be writing up the tutorial now, and then the model numbers will come up after.

LOL was it necessary to put the spoiler box? Wasn't really a spoiler. And I've already finished the game. ==" I seem to be the only one who cares so much about this topic xD

no you're not the only one interested in this its just that you like to post about it more xP also good work Cphantom i might have a fiddle with this

Post one is now a tutorial on how to get this working!

Go enjoy yourself!

Several NPCs are currently missing, though I do not know the locations of them. Those include the ones that I put in the spoiler box a few posts above. If anyone knows were to find them, please let me know which file they are.

Thanks, and enjoy :]

CPhantom, thanks for everything.. but it won't work for me.

I don't have .NET framework 2.0 =="

Damn. I guess I can try this at my uncle's computer or something.

has anyone tried playing multiplayer with swapped models with someone with unswapped ones? i was just wondering how it would affect the game with the unswapped models..like would the two roms be "compatible" for multiplayer.

Aw, dammit. I wanted to play as Adonis D:704. There are a handful of familiar faces after that too.

No, that's not how multiplayer works. Since the game expects both players to have the same model data, it only transmits the information that is unique to your current game (which character and palette you are using). The original character model will appear to players who are using the unswapped game.
