What modchips are having trouble? My original WiiKey is working fine with every game released so far for it's region. The only people that are having problems are those using custom IOSs from what I have seen. I don't see any need for any "modchip" specific threads or compatability charts. If people have a specific problem with a specific game they can specify it in that games release thread or create a specific thread about it.
The true problem is that with the introduction of loaders/loader channels/etc. came a flood of people that modify their IOSs and system menu with very little knowledge on what they are doing. They don't keep track of what version of each IOS is loaded on their machine, what CIOSs are loaded on their machine, and which loader uses which cIOS. Good luck if you are maintaining a thread on which loaders work with which games because the loaders seem to change cIOS and settings every couple of days. On top of that most people using loaders who encounter problems don't specify what state (IOS, cIOS, etc.) their Wii is in when they post problems. Most of the time they don't even specify if they are using a modchip or a loader. In my opinion all of those questions should go in a thread for each loader/channel. If anyone is congesting the forum with a wide array of topics and repeated vague questions it is the people using loaders, not modchips.
