Working on a V2 (HAD-10). Soldered on Rp2040 and it worked fine but it didn't detect any SSIDs after install, which was working fine before. Removed modchip and it still would not detect any SSIDs. Reinstalled again and nothing-thinking maybe cold solder joint first time around, but still nothing. Removed again and...it is stuck in stage 1 boot (122mA) now. I did find 800mA draw on VDD_1VO 5B, which is way out of spec based on the article at retrosix. Not hard to find a shorted cap on this board now-all over the place, but not all. 1v injection seemed to result in very mild CPU warming-my thermal cam is kinda crappy. Maybe a cap on the CPU failed from the heat/solder work? I checked all the nearby traces and caps and there is no damage anywhere.
