Had mocks all of last week.
I thought they went decently.
They didn't particularly

These are the marks I've got back so far:
Maths: C (54.6%) missed the B boundary by 2 marks >:
Latin: C (62%) I got 83& in the unseen translation|comprehension|language paper, but 17% in the set text

Chemistry: C (56%)
Biology: D (dunno what % yet :/)
Physics: C (53%) I think the B boundary was like...55%?
I'll be getting the rest like...tomorrow and the day after.

Although I missed a month of school for various reasons, I still thought I'd do better than I did...

edit: Oh, and I need 6 As in the actual ones to stay on after this year >:

Ouch...that's NO good!

I despise latin, though. Although that was in large part because of my teacher. I understand German declination 100%, but when my Latin teacher tried, I fell on my ass.

My English teacher Faye was 'making up' test questions for us a few days before we took our final exams. When we got in to the English exams we found that the questions were suspiciously similar to ones she'd set us not two days before. Thinking perhaps there may have been some sort of questionable activity there...but whatever, I got an A so I don't give a fuck.

Good luck to all those due to take exams soon. A word of advice. If your mother is getting blind drunk and trashing the house every night, threatening to kill herself because her boyfriend understandably walked out on her, just ignore her. If you help you're up all night, then you end up collapsing in your exams. And trust me, the fuckers don't accept being unconscious as a valid reason for a resit.

do you pick the subjects yourself?
(at my school we get options for what we do fr our GCSE's
No, the only choices we got to make were:
Whether we did 3 sciences + geography or a Foreign language from: Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese.
OR
The 3 sciences as one, and geography AND one of those langages.

Also: we had to choose from: Art, DT, Music and Russian.

Those are the subjects we got to choose
