Homebrew Mocha cfw problem

I followed a guide on hackinfromer (this one https://hackinformer.com/2016/12/12/wiiu-rednand-cfw-tutorial/) and it worked great up until the end of the haxchi part. When I hold B it should launch into the homebrew launcher however it just forces itself into the Mocha cfw launcher....which it does anyway when I access the haxchi game (the icon change to CFW Mocha after I did haxchi) so I haven't been able to test if haxchi even works because I can't access it. What did I do wrong?

Check contents of /haxchi/config.txt if you have b=path_to_homebrew_launcher

Holy shit, that guide is outdated...
You're stuck with 2016 CFW intended for developers, goodluck if it corrupts.

Yes that guide is awful and as Felek666 said outdated. This site has some of the best guides for hacking the wiiu yet people keep going elsewhere for them lol.
