Hacking mmsf wifi

well, it's from edge or what? when i'm trying playing mnsf on wifi, it seems my ds going to slow motion (i mean is slooowww) after getting an opponent. and that's going until i finished battle or quit wifi connection. i don't have this problem with other game though.
