Gaming MK8D connection issues

Anyone else having connection issues on the Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

I couldn't even play a singe online race and I'm a day one buyer.

I use wi-fi, watching eshop videos are fine, but the wifi indicator never reaches 3 bars.

Yes, I have restarted the system several times.

Also, my wi-fi works with my Playstation 4 well, multiplayer is great so maybe it's the Switch's problem?

Do you guys have any tips or solutions? Do you have the same problem?

I had those problems, the solution for me was a new router from my ISP so I could connect with NAT type B instead of type C. You can find your NAT type in the connection test under the menu Internet.

It could well be the Switch. First time I fired up MK8dlx I was having trouble connecting, which I couldn't explain.
To test, I connected my WiiU with SSB and Splatoon, and those worked like a charm. What I then did was take out the Switch from the furniture it resides in, and put it closer to the modem (even though I think it was already close, just on the other side of the room). That seemed to solve it for me.
