Hmm, I don't think Ohana Rebirth is working right.. When I load up something, it will have the model, but no texture. Or, it will have nothing at all. Any help?

Oh, wait. Nevermind. Um, when I use PK3DS, I drag the 4 file from a/0/9/ and it only unpacks one BIN..

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I edited Alolan Ninetales' texture
But it won't show up-

Does editing the game with PKSM/PKHeX affect this?

Same here. And I used Asia81's tutorial of extracting.
You have to open the textures in the BCH texture replacer, not by dragging and dropping.

No save editing has no effect on this.

Try holding CTRL when you drag it.

What paint program would you recommend using?
I just use Paint.net

When I try to patch the game afterwards the game runs fine until I come across the new texture after which it cuts to a black screen saying: An exception occurred Processor: Arm11 (core 0) Exception type: data abort and some other stuff. Is it because I put my edited romfs in luma/titles/(title id)/romfs? or is there some other step I missed? (I'm trying to emulate the installation of the nova sun/umbra moon mod to make my own edits)

I did use 3ds.guide to update to boot9strap earlier today, so maybe I botched up the installation and the 3ds is still trying to do stuff with a9lh? I'm not sure.

Edit: Tried to install umbra moon purely for testing purposes and it worked just fine, meaning that I most likely had a problem modifying the files

Depends on how you're editing your files, as well as how you're loading those edits. It has nothing to do with B9S vs. A9LH. So yeah, it's more than likely the way you're repacking the garc after making your edits. Use PK3DS to repack the entire garc and check to make sure none of the bins are left decrypted.

The regular Ohana should work just fine for that. I've done model swaps and stuff in Gen 6 with it as well. You have to be careful with editing models though since there are bone/vert limitations

but the second I edited the texture and tried to import it Ohana3ds crashed and it was only the head/hat part of brendan

Yeah it does that when the files are not acceptable either because the format is wrong, they are too large, have too many verts, etc etc. I've had it crash just importing textures because the file was larger than the exported one. If you don't know exactly why your hat isn't working, you're gonna have to play around a bit.
