However lots of them have a whitelist and others have noob floods

Everytime notch updates, all the modders finally get to updating the mods (which make the game far more playable) and by the time they do, Notch releases another patch and you end up spending most of your time patching the game again and again and again. I use to like minecraft, but now I find it frustrating and annoying.

I have a list of about 13 mods, so I guess it would be ok if you enjoy the game "as-is".

Things should get a little better when an official modding API has been added. Then mods won't be modifications as such, but rather pluggable modules. And less time will be spent waiting for 3rd party devs to update their stuff.

TempCraft is so great, but it won't let me log in, because of some odd ghosting login problem.

Can anyone suggest anything to do on minecraft. I 'got' it and have kinda grown bored of SSP (didn't get very far, about 5 nights in, nothing to do) and the only SMP server i can play is tempcraft, which is full of creations and not very 'wildernessy', plus none of my friends irl play it. I've tried classic again, which is alright but i just finished my house so have nothing left to do.
I used to love this game but now i am struggling to find what people see in it.

Build a town, a castle, a complicated redstone system to do something.
I recently built a castle and it took me awhile.

Huge Tip: Only use MCedit to clear land, NEVER to build.

How do you join?

Easily, just visit our site at http://aesir-craft.webs.com and read the text in BIG RED LETTERS. They will explain how to register. All it is, is signing up on our control panel which activates your account in game (all free and easy) allowing you to build. This is for filtering out proxies mostly and giving you the ability to request in-game promotions for new perks.

As a last note, please do not message us here for access or issues, we have the forums, an email and our control panel for that. This thread will not be monitored for this kind of activity!

They are. They are stalking me. Last night around 3 AM i was looking at some of monkats first post. Then on the bottom i see 1 guest and 1 user. So they have to be stalking me.

You might want to keep tabs on IP's, especially with a cracked server.
