It seems like there are two Minecrafts for switch, one called just Minecraft and the other called Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition.

What's the difference between these two?

Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition is the console edition and the other one is minecraft bedrock and it has crossplay

Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition is the legacy console version you know from the X360 and PS3 days, later ported to XOne and PS4. I prefer this one for singleplayer or couch co-op play because the inventory system to me is far better than how it works in 'Minecraft,' the bedrock engine one. Minecraft has cross platform multiplayer that can play with Smartphones, XOne, and the Win10 version of this game. The console variant is secluded to just the partnered game servers (Mineplex, Hypixel, etc.)

Since my Switch is self-banned, I assume the one to go with is the Switch Edition then?
