Nice, I believe there are some forge mods to enable gamepad support in minecraft, Idk if they'd work with the android input api as they would be designed for xinput or dinput.

i can try it with a proxy since the server im on is running beta 1.1

Just a little update on this: if you really want to play javacraft, use l4t Ubuntu and MCSwitchTools. For controller support, use qjoypad and jstest-gtk to find the correct buttons to configure on the controller. It’s not perfect but it works very well once you get it all set up properly.

Yes I tried controllable and no it doesn’t work.
