Well Notch attitude against logic to not porting to 3ds and wiiu mine craft still makes me suspicious about quality of this porting.
Also voices about Microsoft moneyhatting him against nintendo before the acquire of mojhang also makes me not confident Microsoft interest on this porting.
In both cases, notch pissed from Nintendo refusing paying him for the port or MS moneyhatting him to weak wiiu lineup, too late arrival on Wii...defintly not buying it (maybe on nx)

Anyway, Notch isn't involved with Minecraft any more. In fact, he had already stepped away from it to work on his little hoby projects (like Scroll) long before Microsoft swooped in.

Many wonder why Minecraft was not on Nintendo consoles, in a way that would perfect place for it.
Many said Microsoft was already speaking behind scenes to acquire mohjang and at time Nintendo was seen as a enemy for ms about casual customer market and to please them Notch until was CEO blocked any porting to Wii
Others instead say that being Notch such asshole to deny porting because his attitude against Nintendo as company , they refer to his answers when asked about Nintendo.
Reality seems to just a money problem because now Nintendo refused to founding the porting as Sony and ms did...

If the normal Minecraft is in fact coming that's great (not for me though) but for now we just have a confirmation of Telltale's Minecraft. I've also seen that Telltale's Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 is coming to the Wii U so once the price of it lowers down I'll get it since I haven't played Season 2 yet.

Telltale's makes better games with an engaging story than David Cage does, in my opinion.

To clarify ... as far as anybody knows, there are no plans to release Minecraft 'original' on Wii U BUT Minecraft Story Mode is definitely coming?
